Hey guys!

We’re pleased to announce that Afterglow is now live. Along with this first demo release, the game is now available on PC, Mac*, Linux.

This is a major push from us since we're adding all the core systems of the game at once. Some you can see, but mostly what you can't.

It's a new era for our development habits, since the build is now public.
We are committed to work on the project until the story's end, like we did those last 2 years working on the story and making the systems that could handle said story. Development took a while as you all know, but we've come a very long way since we first started this project.

Speaking of "we", I'd like to properly introduce our team:

• GaussianFracture, the creator of the project and the lead artist.
• Elvishious, me, game developer/programmer on this project.
• Wanderan, the writer behind the story's main plot.
• ScribEye_Steak, the writer behind the... spicier elements of the plot.

We are still in the alpha stages and we know we have a lot to improve and add. The more we update, the more we'll add storylines. We're planning to make an update every month so please bear with us.
This game is a visual novel with dating-sim, and point and click mechanics. You can explore, search, and interact with people all around the town in multiple locations.
The bulk of the main storyline is a relatively slow-burn romance story. Each romanceable character has a unique storyline and some of these storylines may even cross paths in the future.
The art is composed of body-view sprites with dozens of expressions with dress variations and fully rendered cutscenes for more impactful moments in the story. The visual style is cartoonish and rich in color to create an eye-candy experience. Those of you who are aware of Gaussian's work prior to this project should feel right at home!

This first release contains:

• The main story introduction
• The introduction of Meg storyline
• All the major systems we planned (quest, schedule, navigation, ... )
